While in Vermont for the holiday, our client's were throwing an open house party for their recently finished ski home. It was nice to be able to attend and see so many people enjoying the house.
The talk of the party was the chandelier over the dining table. It's a unique piece.
The view was important to our clients, so my challenge was to preserve this view through a light fixture. Given the requirements from the client, this was probably the more challenging fixture we had to select for the house.
We came across this light at Casa Design in Boston and knew it was perfect right away. The chandelier has 72 tiny bulbs strung together and suspended from the ceiling in an organic cluster, creating an eye catching sparkle where you can see directly through to the mountain view.
The light is manufactured by Quasar and is designed by Jan Pauwels in Holland.
It really is something!
Can't wait to share with you more of this wonderful project!
