The trend towards building homes with larger windows continues, especially when a jaw-dropping view sits just outside. A beach dune caught the eye of the homeowner--and everyone else who enters the main house--so the view was incorporated into the house plans. It was important for the view to remain the focal point and to maximize the amount of natural light flooding the home’s interiors. To do this, Emily used minimal window treatments to compliment the home’s architecture and frame the view. She also selected fabrics and rugs in the shades of the landscape to combine the sophisticated interiors with the outdoors.
