THAT SCANDI FEELING…

Situated on top of a cliff overlooking the Wellfleet Harbor, this home allows its residents to take advantage of spectacular views from every vantage point, including a lush golf course from the rear of the home.

After spending many vacations in Eastern Europe, these clients found themselves loving the mixture of mid-century furniture with Scandinavian-inspired interior architecture.

Emily opted for a simple white interior to enhance the natural mahogany exposed throughout the home. Finding color in the case pieces and accessories, she built a blue hue throughout the home to create a relationship between the coast right outside of their front door and the more neutral tones they were inspired by in their travels. Colors in the main living space mimic the color of Wellfleet Harbor and set the palette for the entire house.

Emily’s scale of furnishings was intentional, as to not overwhelm the space. The rooms feel expansive as a result of her furniture selections with legs versus upholstery that extended to the floor. The master bed was custom-designed by Emily to carry out the sense of space with the illusion of a floating bed, making it the perfect space to drift off to sleep every night.
